Ron Schreiber is an experienced operating executive with an expertise in founding and leading companies and technology development. He has founded two lasting billion dollar technology companies and led them to successful exits and he is a seasoned venture capitalist who has operated three venture funds where he has realized upper quartile returns.

Mr. Schreiber currently serves as a Partner for New York investments with SoftBank Capital.

Prior to SoftBank Capital, Mr. Schreiber was Managing Director of Seed Capital Partners, an early stage technology venture fund that he co-founded in 1999 with Jordan Levy in association with SoftBank.

In 1990 Mr. Schreiber co-founded UCA later known as SoftBank Services Group, the nations first technology specific outsourcing company, where he served as co-CEO and Chairman. SoftBank Services Group was the predecessor company to ClientLogic Corporation. ClientLogic is now one of the world’s largest outsourced call center providers with over 23,000 employees in well over 50 facilities around the world. Mr. Schreiber was also the founder of Software Distribution Services, the predecessor company to Ingram Micro (NYSE:IM), the world’s largest wholesale computer products distributor with over $23B in annual revenue. Mr. Schreiber led all acquisitions, technical units, and all product support functions at the company in addition to his executive management responsibilities. Mr. Schreiber served on the executive management team at Ingram for three years.

Mr. Schreiber is actively involved in community affairs and currently serves on the board of directors of the Regional Development Corporation, BuffLink, and Ciminelli Construction Company. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the UB Foundation, Inc. and is an Advisor to the Faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences at UB. In addition, Mr. Schreiber serves on the board of several portfolio companies, including AEB, Aequus Technologies, Cyber-Ark, Insightix, Polychromix and Optodot. He is the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions including the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Inc. 500 list for Fastest growing businesses in the U.S., the UB Distinguished Alumni Award and many others. He resides in Amherst, New York with his wife Sherry and their two sons, Evan and Aaron.
